About Successory
Two decades of turning expertise into institutional capability
Who We Are
Successory is a consulting and capacity-development firm that works at the intersection of development finance, institutional reform and knowledge. Our clients include multilateral agencies such as IFAD, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, FAO and UNDP; development partners such as GIZ, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Development Bank of Southern Africa; and a wide range of Nigerian federal and state institutions, financial institutions and private organisations.
We are a lean firm by design. A senior core team leads each engagement, and we draw on a network of more than 30 specialist consultants in development finance, agricultural economics, public policy, governance, monitoring and evaluation and communications. That lets us assemble the right team for each assignment, whatever its size.

Led by experience
Our consulting philosophy
Institutions improve when strategy, systems and people move together. A strategy without capable staff stalls. Training without the right systems fades. New systems without a clear direction drift. Our engagements are built to connect all three, and to leave the client stronger at each stage.
How an engagement works
- Understand. We agree the real question, the stakeholders involved and what success looks like.
- Diagnose. We gather evidence through documents, data, interviews and fieldwork, using recognised assessment tools where they fit.
- Design. We develop strategies, systems or programmes with the client’s team, tested against its budget and context.
- Build capability. We train and coach the people who will own the result.
- Support delivery. We stay involved through implementation, monitoring and review, for as long as the engagement requires.
